Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Shift Lead to manage facility operations on a 3rd shift, 10:00pm–8:30am, coordinating maintenance and safety across central plant systems for mission-critical environments.

The role requires 12+ years of facilities maintenance, relevant licenses, strong leadership, and ability to read technical docs; you will supervise technicians, maintain CMMS records, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.
• Able to read and interpret technical docs and sequences of operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct managerial leadership for assigned shift personnel and work assignments.
• Lead daily facility operations and maintenance activities to ensure reliability.
• Prioritize and assign technician activities based on safety and operations impact.
• Maintain shift reports and CMMS records; ensure accurate documentation.
• Enforce safety requirements (LOTO, PPE, ORM) and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with management, BOC, and technical support to address concerns.
