Havis is hiring a Production Worker for the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am, Sun–Thu) in Warminster, PA. The role involves sorting parts, staging WIP, operating forklifts, and fabricating parts.

Requires high school diploma, basic tools experience, and ability to read English instructions. Responsibilities include following supervisor directions, inspecting for defects, tracking parts in the ERP system, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifikationen

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plus.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and engineering drawings.
• Must possess a strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing.

Aufgaben

• Sort parts from work bins from sheet metal processing equipment.
• Stage WIP for Fabrication work areas.
• Identify the next work order and deliver to appropriate personnel.
• Select work orders on the Factory Scheduler, firmed status only and expedited orders take first priority, followed by date.
• Ensure all needed parts are requested from inventory through the scheduler and the residual parts are pulled from locations shown on the work order.
• Verify parts with correct IDs and counts against the work order before staging.
• Return parts after excessive waiting and re-firm the associated work order.
• Follow verbal instructions from Production Supervisor.
• Inspect parts, products and machinery for defects.
• Process orders as dictated by the production schedule.
• Operate forklift for material movement including scrap removal and unloading.
• Fabricate parts using machines like belt sander, deburring equipment, shear, etc.
• Assist with loading and unloading machinery.
• Execute material issues/receipts in the ERP system.
• Contribute to the parts cycle counting program.
• Work at different workstations as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
