Job summary

Havis is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm, Mon-Fri) at our Warminster, PA facility. This full-time, on-site role involves moving materials, loading and unloading, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, English comprehension, OSHA forklift certification, and strong attention to detail. Prior RF scanner experience is preferred and a clean driving record may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
• High degree of attention to prevent injury; promote a safe work environment.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
• Comfortable with regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks or trailers.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Check loads are secure and safe.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keep records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
