Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a full‑time non‑exempt worker to read and understand work orders, locate and handle fabric rolls in the warehouse, unroll and weigh rolls, and perform related tasks. You will also mark and sew rolls as needed, keep areas clean, and participate in safety training.

The role requires teamwork and good basic math, with 8–12 hour shifts and overtime. On-site duties include operating pallet jacks and tow motors after training, pushing/pulling boxes of dry fabric, and

Qualifications

• Read and understand work orders.
• Stand for most of the shift.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors about problems.
• Understand basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Work 8–12 hour shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work orders.
• Find correct Lot of rolls in warehouse using provided paperwork.
• Unroll the material rolls as described on the work order.
• Weigh the Lot.
• Mark ends of rolls as needed.
• Sew ends of rolls together as needed.
• Perform daily cleaning of area.
• Understand basics of the dye/bleach/finish business (training will be provided).
• Other tasks manager asks of employee.
