Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator for its Label Works division in North Mankato, MN. The role focuses on operating machines for finishing production orders, supporting shipping, and maintaining quality standards.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, with basic math skills and the ability to follow work orders. Expect a 3rd shift, 10:00pm–6:30am schedule, and opportunities to contribute across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• Basic math skills including reading a ruler and calculating label dimensions.
• Ability to operate equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to understand verbal and written work orders.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic or semi-automatic machines in a continuous production environment, including cutters, slitters, and shrink wrappers.
• Assist in shipping by pre-boxing and preparing orders
• Proofread and quality-check product for accuracy and quality standards
• Clean and maintain the work area in compliance with safety regulations
• Assist in other departmental areas as workload requires
