Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Marshall, Missouri facility. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and testing plant equipment on-site under the Maintenance Supervisor, with potential for extended shifts.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of factory maintenance experience, vocational training, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Welding and electrical capability are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years progressive mechanic experience in manufacturing.
• Vocational tech training in machine maintenance.
• Carry and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Read and write English for production/quality docs.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, percentages.
• Familiar with shop equipment and basic tools.
• Electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Marshall, MO facility.
• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test plant equipment components.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
• Inspect machines to locate problems, replace defective parts, and adjust for production.
• Use manuals, diagrams to troubleshoot equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to service equipment.
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines.
• Welding, electrical and fabrication experience.
• May work seven days a week with extended shifts.

Hourly Rate: $23.17 an hour

Location: Marshall, Missouri

Anticipated Close Date: October 1, 2026

Position Responsibilities

• You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Marshall, MO facility
• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/components on plant & production equipment
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order
• You will inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operation
• Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment
• Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/equipment on plant and production equipment
• Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines
• Welding, electrical and fabrication experience
• You may work seven days a week and extended shift schedules

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Vocational tech training in machine maintenance
• Carry and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Read and write English for completion of production/quality documents.
• Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages
• Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools
