Job summary

EMS, Thin Metal Parts is seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. We offer on-the-job training and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with match, and PTO, plus a 10% shift premium for 3rd shift hours.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning and plating processes, following run sheets, measuring parts with a micrometer, and maintaining equipment while ensuring safety and quality throughout production.

Qualifications

• Basic PC skills required and data entry ability.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to follow run sheets and perform data entry where applicable.
• Ability to multitask across different areas and products.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning and plating processes.
• Process parts through chemical baths per run sheets.
• Perform chemical additions as specified.
• Use a micrometer to measure parts and adjust parameters.
• In-process inspection of parts with naked eye and magnification.
• Handle chemical transfers between electroforming/photo areas.
• Maintain equipment and keep areas clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
