Nestlé USA is seeking a Multi-skilled EMT 1 to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment under supervision in Schaumburg, IL. The role offers a third shift with a $1.25 differential and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities include PMs, component replacements, basic electrical tasks, and assisting senior technicians while adhering to LOTO and safety protocols. Prior maintenance exposure and trade-school background are valued.

Competenze

• 1-3 years industrial maintenance experience OR trade school equivalent.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment (internship, apprenticeship, or entry-level role).
• NFPA 70E electrical safety awareness.
• LOTO trained and qualified.
• Basic electrical training (voltage measurement, meter usage).
• Mechanical fundamentals training (power transmission, pneumatics).

Mansioni

• Perform PMs and basic work orders on assigned equipment.
• Replace bearings, belts, chains, gaskets, sensors on machinery.
• Perform basic electrical work (motors, switches, contactors).
• Follow LOTO and all safety processes.
• Assist higher-level techs with troubleshooting and rebuilds.
