3rd Shift Distillery Maintenance Technician - Multi Craft

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in a multi-craft environment, with proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components of machinery.
- Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot equipment and operating system problems, both mechanical and electrical.
- Maintain machinery and equipment including electrical motors, starters, VFD drives, control panels, wiring, motor control centers, switchgear, and lighting systems.
- Interpret schematics and drawings effectively.
- Maintain and program PLCs and motor drive controllers with minimal supervision.
- Install and repair machinery and equipment, including electrical and mechanical components, conduit, wiring, and electrical panels.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of various machinery and equipment, including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Operate shop tools such as drill presses, lathes, grinders, saws, and more for repairs or rebuilding parts.
- Possess metal fabrication and welding skills, including MIG/TIG welding, stick welding, and plasma cutting.
- Maintain facility plumbing systems, requiring knowledge of industrial, commercial, and domestic plumbing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least three (3) years of recent industrial maintenance experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of formal training or education from vocational or trade school.
- An associate degree or certification in electrical training is advantageous.
- Ability to perform mechanical repairs using shop equipment and collaborate with others on modifications.
- Knowledge and experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Basic welding and pipefitting skills are required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, stand for long periods, and climb stairs.
- Availability to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and participate in a rotating call schedule.
- Willingness to adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards as per the Housekeeping and Sanitation Manual.
