Quad in Spartanburg is seeking experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operators to set up and run sheetfed die-cutting equipment, ensuring quality and safety on every job. You’ll work with state-of-the-art equipment and a skilled team to deliver packaging products for national brands.

Previous Bobst 106 die-cutting experience is highly preferred; relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates and there are multiple shift options to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sheetfed die-cutting equipment is required.
• Experience with Bobst 106 die-cutters is highly preferred.
• Ability to read specifications, stock, and measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment.
• Verify job specs, dies, paper stock, and production requirements before runs.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
• Stage completed work per production instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow safety, quality, and PPE policies.
• Cross-train and assist with training other operators.

• 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (Monday–Wednesday)
• 6:00 pm – 6:00 am (Sunday–Tuesday)
• 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (Thursday–Saturday)
• 6:00 pm – 6:00 am (Wednesday–Friday)

Important

This is an experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operator position. Previous sheetfed die-cutting machine operating experience is required. Candidates without prior die-cutting experience are encouraged to explore other opportunities with Quad that better match your background.

Position Summary

Quad is seeking experienced Sheetfed Die Cutter Operators to join our Spartanburg manufacturing team.

In this role, you will set up and operate sheetfed die-cutting equipment to produce high-quality packaging products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the production process. You'll work alongside an experienced team using state-of-the-­art equipment to deliver products for nationally recognized brands.

Experience operating Bobst 106 die-cutting equipment is highly preferred. Candidates with experience operating other Bobst or sheetfed die‑cutting machines are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate sheetfed die‑cutting equipment.
• Verify job specifications, dies, paper stock, and production requirements before each run.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and production efficiency.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Stage completed work according to production instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and PPE requirements.
• Cross‑train and assist with training other operators as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating sheetfed die‑cutting equipment is required.
• Experience operating Bobst 106 die cutters is highly preferred; candidates with experience on other Bobst or sheetfed die‑cutting equipment are encouraged to apply.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize quality while working efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to accurately read measuring devices and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to lift 10–15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand for 12‑hour shifts and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
