Job summary

Quad is hiring full-time Cutter Operators for our Spartanburg, SC plant. The role involves operating die-cutting machines and performing set-up, loading, and maintenance tasks.

You will confirm order accuracy, load stock, stage finished work, and follow safety, contamination control, and efficiency guidelines. The position requires teamwork and the ability to train others when needed, with shifts from 8pm–6am (with a $1.00 shift premium) and 6am–6pm (Fri–Sun).

Qualifications

• Experience with die-cutting machinery (Bobst Spanthera preferred).
• Ability to read and use measuring devices.
• Proficient with basic math.
• Must be able to lift 10–15 lb continuously and up to 50 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Confirm accuracy and completeness of orders, dies, set-up, and installation.
• Load and feed paper stock and operate die-cutting machines.
• Stage completed work per instructions and maintain the work area.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines to support teamwork, safety, contamination control, and efficiency.
• Perform pre‑production, make‑ready, and production‑run tasks.
• Operate powered equipment.
• Occasionally train workers on machine operation, including feeding and take‑off functions.
• Ensure the work area is clean and dispose of non‑conforming, over‑runs, and waste properly.
• Cross‑train as assigned.
• Follow all personal protective equipment rules and regulations.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Shifts

• 8pm – 6am (Monday–Thursday) – $1.00 shift premium
• 6am – 6pm (Friday–Sunday)

Responsibilities
