Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate precision diamond turning machines and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Set up and adjust machines; modify programming as needed to meet part specifications.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to determine part requirements.
• Clean parts using acetone and other approved chemicals.
• Inspect optical surfaces for quality and measure surface roughness, figure, radius, and other requirements.
• Perform accurate data entry in computer systems.
• Learn and support metrology processes.
