Job summary

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and reliable teamwork. You may lead a crew, receive on-the-job training, and help prepare spaces for graduations and emergencies,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination.
• Must be able to lift to 50+ pounds and perform custodial duties in various settings.
• Experience with residential, commercial/industrial cleaning methods and safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms, offices, halls, classrooms, and common areas.
• Prepare spaces for events and graduations, including on- and off-campus locations.
• Lead and direct custodial crew; train others and monitor safety compliance with LU and OSHA rules.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report or address them as required.
• Assist in emergency response and seasonal tasks such as snow removal.
