Job summary

Roger Williams University is seeking a Custodian for the 3rd shift in Facilities Management to maintain cleanliness and safety across campus buildings in Bristol, RI.

The role covers cleaning restrooms, floors, dusting, window care, debris and snow removal, door security, moving furniture, and painting as needed. The successful candidate will attend safety trainings and report repairs promptly.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform custodial tasks and operate cleaning equipment.
• Must be willing to attend mandatory safety classes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service rest rooms, smoking urns and ash trays.
• Mop, sweep, scrub floors and other surfaces; maintain floor finishes and vacuum.
• Dust and wax furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, trim and related furnishings.
• Wash windows and interior glass, including partitions.
• Lock and unlock doors to classrooms and offices.
• Move furniture and supplies as directed.
• Paint as directed and required.
• Report all items requiring repair.
• Attend all mandatory safety classes.
