Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load/unload inventory and move items using overhead crane or other material handling equipment as directed. The role requires following work orders and ensuring safety and accuracy in inventory handling.

Responsibilities include documenting inventory locations, assembling orders, performing inspections, and adhering to company safety policies while maintaining effective communication across shifts.

• Capable of standing/walking for long periods.

Job Function

• Document and report inventory location changes according to specified procedure s.
• Assemble customer orders according to work orders and procedures.
• Document, tag & paint inventory received according to specified procedure s.
• Record pertinent material information on to work orders or other forms as specified by local procedure.
• Special projects as specified by management.
• Performance of other Warehouse or Processing / Maintenance Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.
• Adhere to all company safety policies & procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition; report and communicate any defects, concerns or maintenance needs.
• Recognize and report potential hazards or unsafe conditions in the work area to supervision.
• Maintain professional communication with other operators, supervisors, & departments as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
