Job summary

Synergy Flavors (OH) LLC in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Compounder to join our production facility. You will follow batch instructions, weigh dyes, chemicals, and other substances, monitor viscosity, and take samples for lab testing. Adherence to GMPs, safety protocols, and proper documentation is required.

The role involves lifting heavy items, PPE, and operating mixers, spray dryers and blending tanks in a fast-paced environment. Full-time onsite position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Must have general knowledge of workplace safety and quality processes including GMPs & Allergens.
• Must follow safety requirements and wear PPE including steel-toed shoes, safety goggles and a mask as necessary.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematics required.
• Problem solve and communicate when something is wrong and to recognize/report the problem.
• Must be able to wear a respirator with Doctor’s approval and pass respiratory/pulmonary testing when required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously when necessary.
• Learn and follow operational and cleaning procedures, and complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard batching instructions to measure or weigh ingredients.
• Lift heavy drums and bags while wearing PPE.
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, and utilize piping efficiently.
• Monitor equipment, control temperatures and consistency of the mixes.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task under pressure.
• Sample and test mixtures after completion.
• Follow sanitary CIP guidelines and cleaning procedures.
• Complete batch sheets and paperwork accurately.
• Operate safely and adhere to company safety policies.
