Job summary

BCI Solutions, Inc. in the United States seeks a 3rd Shift CNC Setup Specialist to reduce changeover times, solve machining problems, and keep production moving. You will set up CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers, install tooling and fixtures, and verify first-piece quality.

We value independent workers who can read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and troubleshoot while collaborating with Quality and Production to improve productivity and uptime.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up CNC machining centers, mills, or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, workholding, speeds, and feeds.
• Experience troubleshooting machining and dimensional issues.
• Ability to work independently on 3rd shift.
• Experience machining castings is a plus.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setting up CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers for production.
• Installing tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Setting tool and work offsets and verifying first-piece quality.
• Reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T requirements.
• Troubleshooting setup, tooling, and machining issues.
• Making offset and program adjustments to maintain quality.
• Reducing setup times while maintaining safe, repeatable processes.
• Supporting operators with technical issues and process improvements.
• Working closely with Quality and Production to resolve problems quickly.
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
