Job summary

California Closets is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic & Technician for 3rd shift to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy wood processing machines and building systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, tooling care, and ensuring safety compliance.

Minimum 5+ years with CNC-style machinery, HS diploma or GED, and ability to read manuals/blueprints are required. Eligible for health insurance, PTO, 401K, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience with heavy CNC-style equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, interpret manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify heavy wood processing equipment in need of repair; troubleshoot issues.
• Inform teams about problems affecting production schedules.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures for equipment and building systems.
• Maintain tools, materials, and maintenance records; requisition parts as needed.
