Qualifications

• Requires set-up and operation of milling machines, lathes, and related tools to fabricate parts.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Program CNC lathes and mills; basic g-code knowledge.
• Uses precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Works under general supervision with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard milling machines, lathes and related equipment to manufacture components.
• Perform precision machining and assembly activities per drawings and specifications.
• Read drawings and verify tolerances using precision measurement tools.
• Program CNC lathes/mills and utilize AutoCAD for related tasks.
• Maintain equipment and promote safe, efficient work practices.
