Job summary

Qualifications

• Fix defects on Single Needle Bar knitting machines.
• Cut collars/ringers off beams.
• Handle yarn delicately.
• Willingness to work third shift and maintain punctuality.
• Able to pass pre-employment substance screening and background check.
• Stand/walk for 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Fix defects on bars for Single Needle Bar knitting machines.
• Cut collars/ringers off beams.
• Account for knitting hook/tools and monitor fabric for foreign objects.
• Fill out production cards and tickets accurately.
• Monitor machines for low warps and off-size beams.
• Recognize quality issues to minimize downtime.
• Prepare finished roll for doffing and start up knitting machine.
• Patrol knitting machine and assist housekeeping in the knitting room.
