Responsibilities

• Tends to a battery of machines that knit or weave narrow fabrics.
• Continuously patrols looms and creels.
• Observes process to detect yarn breaks and ties broken yarn ends.
• Observes process to detect exhausted yarn packages.
• Notifies supervisor of defects and mechanical issues.
• Adjusts machine mechanisms, tensions, and speeds to meet specifications.
• Read weaving drafts and understand work instructions.
