Job summary

Copeland LP, a global climate technologies company, seeks an Incremental Build Technician for the Sidney, OH lab. You will support design, development and qualification of oil-free centrifugal compressors for HVACR systems, assembling components and verifying tests.

This 3rd shift, fully onsite role involves working with engineers, operating precision equipment, and documenting data to ensure standards are met.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• U.S. work authorization; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to create and test bearing technology.
• Operate lab assembly and measurement equipment.
• Fabricate components for tests, including heat treating, welding, brazing, soldering.
• Collect and document build data for compliance.
• Assist with lab upkeep, 5S+1 audits, safety walks, and quality checks.
