Purity Dairies in Nashville is seeking a Case Dock Laborer for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM). The role involves handling all-purpose duties such as ensuring an adequate supply of empty cases for production, maintaining and cleaning equipment, and moving cases from trucks using milk hooks or pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform basic math (adding, subtracting, etc.).
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when needed.
• Ability to work in a wet environment and potentially expose to cleaning chemicals.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work well in a team and document entries legibly.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure empty cases are available to production departments to meet schedules.
• Maintain and clean equipment in the assigned area.
• Slide case stacks from truck using milk hook or pallet jack as appropriate.
• Ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays; verify area ends with full cases for the next shift.
