Job summary

Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, is hiring for a Case Dock Laborer on the 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am). External candidates may receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Rate is $18.75/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all equipment in assigned area.
• Slide case stacks from truck using milk hook or pallet jack as appropriate.
• Ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays.
• Prioritize which truck to empty first based on input from supervisors, yard drivers, or others.
• Document paperwork clearly and accurately per SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report food safety or quality issues to management immediately.
