Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Calibration Technician to perform routine and non-routine instrument calibrations for processing and packaging equipment. This role reports to the Calibration Manager and is 100% onsite on the 3rd shift.

The position emphasizes maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs as part of cGMP operations. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (AA preferred) and be able to wear PPE, stand for long hours, and lift up to 55

Qualifications

• PPE usage required; respirator may be required.
• May work with pressurized equipment, hot surfaces.
• May work in confined spaces; standing for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate calibration support to manufacturing, packaging, quality, and other departments.
• Set up standards and equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate instruments; research specs.
• Adjust/repair instruments to meet calibration tolerances.
• Participate in lean initiatives and continuous improvement to boost efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
