Job summary

Textron is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support the Providence facility. You will monitor HVAC controls, perform repairs, and address tenant needs while maintaining security and safety of the building.

The role includes painting, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and variable weekend rotation. A vocational HVAC credential and painting experience are preferred, with flexibility to work 3rd shift and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven painting experience.
• Basic computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• 3 years of building maintenance or mechanical experience preferred.
• Vocational Degree or equivalent training in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating and Plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperature controls and outside weather conditions.
• Maintain and repair HVAC equipment.
• Ensure building security and respond to tenants' needs.
• Perform general maintenance and painting of surfaces.
• Handle snow and ice removal and other duties as assigned.
