Job summary

Professional Business Providers Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for a full-time union role serving 24/7 airport operations. You will perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems to ensure safe, reliable facility operations.

The senior-level technician will work independently, troubleshoot complex equipment, mentor junior techs, and support projects with vendors while maintaining records and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school is a plus.
• 5+ years of commercial/industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and BAS.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Complete work orders and keep maintenance records/logs up to date.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies, including some after-hours/on-call support.
• Support facility projects (installs, upgrades, repairs) and coordinate with vendors onsite.
• Track spare parts/supplies and flag reorder needs.
• Follow safety protocols (LOTO, OSHA, confined space, fall protection).
• Mentor junior technicians and share best practices.

The Building Maintenance Technician is a full time union position and is responsible for performing advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted facility operations.

This position serves as the senior-level maintenance technician and is expected to work independently, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and support in maintaining operational excellence throughout the facility.

Requirements

What you'll do

Maintain and repair building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and BAS
