Job summary

WorkSmart Staffing in Arden, NC is hiring a 3rd shift Sanitation Technician for a contract-to-hire role at a beverage production facility. You will clean and sanitize production equipment, lines, and work areas.

You must follow safety procedures, document cleaning activities, and work with production and sanitation teams to maintain high cleanliness standards. This role requires standing, bending, and working in wet or cold conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial cleaning or food/beverage sanitation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, lines, and work areas.
• Safely use cleaning tools, chemicals, and sanitation equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as instructed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Document completed cleaning activities accurately.
• Keep sanitation areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.
• Report sanitation concerns or potential contamination risks.
• Work with the production and sanitation teams to maintain high cleanliness standards.
