Job summary

JBS USA is hiring for a 3rd shift sanitation position in Lenoir, NC. This hourly role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing all production lines during nightly operations to keep the facility compliant and efficient.

As a general laborer on the sanitation team, you will operate cleaning equipment, stock supplies, and monitor sanitation in a fast-paced, cold environment while following safety procedures and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist repeatedly
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively

Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitor and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to life over 50 pounds
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Perform other duties as needed or as assigned
