Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time 3rd shift Behavioral Health Technician in Worcester, MA. Schedules include Fri-Tue, Wed-Sun, or Tue-Sat 11pm-7am with a pay range of $17–$18.50 per hour.

This entry-level role supports a residential treatment milieu and coordinates with the nursing staff. The position requires at least one year in addiction/mental health fields, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in addiction or mental health fields, preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License, required.
• Ability to speak clearly and persuasively; attentive listening.
• Knowledge of organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
• Ability to document thoroughly and use appropriate clinical language.

Responsibilities

• Provide around-the-clock supervision and maintain a therapeutic milieu for treatment initiatives.
• Assist with transportation and logistics for clients.
• Stock and manage inventory of client items; provide access to necessities.
• Support administrative tasks such as faxing, ordering, and medical records maintenance.
• Document client behaviors, attendance, and vitals; collaborate with medical/nursing staff.
• Facilitate non-clinical group sessions within scope and skill set.
