Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in the United States is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our facility operations running smoothly across building systems, AutoStore, and safety-critical infrastructure.

You will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and coordinate with vendors. The role requires 3–5 years in maintenance or a similar technical field, hands-on troubleshooting, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, automation, or a similar technical role.
  • Experience with automated systems and/or conveyors required.
  • Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using tools to troubleshoot, repair and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including ability to use systems/software to track and manage work.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility, grounds, building systems, equipment, and AutoStore system; monitor performance and respond to issues as they arise.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, generators, and other equipment) to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Maintain and coordinate required testing and service for Fire/Life Safety systems, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the facility, including lighting, minor repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep of interior and exterior spaces.
  • Support day‑to‑day facility needs, including associate moves, equipment/furniture setup, spill cleanup, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ongoing services (landscaping, janitorial, waste removal, etc.).
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas, including storage, warehouse, and maintenance spaces; properly maintain and store tools and equipment.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation for building systems and equipment.
  • Identify, report, and address safety hazards, and follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Schedule 3rd Shift

Schedule: Monday night - Friday night, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM, with the final shift ending at 5:30 AM on Saturday morning.

Pay and Benefits
  • Starting Pay: $33.50 per hour
  • Hourly or Incentive Bonus

  • Pay Range: - $23.80 - $39.14
  • Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
  • This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
