Job summary

Tate's Bake Shop is seeking a 3rd Shift Associate Manager Production in East Moriches, NY. The role supports the Production Manager, leads a production team, and drives continuous improvement to meet goals while maintaining safety and quality.

You will monitor processes, train staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production flow and inventory management. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 1+ year of management experience in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Ability to work third shift and stand for long periods.

3rd Shift Associate Manager Production

The Associate Manager Production plays a key role in overseeing daily operations within the manufacturing facility. This position supports the Production Manager in coordinating production activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring product quality while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Associate Manager will lead a team of production staff, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of production areas and processes, addressing any issues promptly.
• Identify areas for process optimization and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure efficient production flow and minimize stockouts.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to facilitate timely procurement of materials.
• Prepare and analyze production reports, providing insights on performance metrics and identifying trends for management review.
• Participate in production planning meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Support compliance with industry regulations and standards, including food safety and sanitation practices.
• Responsible for all applicable Company procedures and policies, including Mondelez Quality Policies.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, New York State and other regulatory requirements, to assure food safety & quality.
• Other related duties as assigned.
