Job summary

Horton, Inc. is seeking a Tip & Balance Operator for the Westminster, SC location. This 3rd shift role (9:30 pm – 7:30 am, Sun-Wed) offers starting pay of $19.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium.

Overtime may be required. The role focuses on operating various machinery to assemble product and ensure quality. Responsibilities include following routings, performing quality checks, maintaining records, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift and have reliable transportation.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to work well in a group and individually.
• Some degree of mechanical aptitude may be required.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to assemble product and ensure quality.
• Read instructions and routings; follow work instructions.
• Check stock levels and coordinate with material handler for shortages.
• Complete departmental paperwork: routings, tickets, downtime, status sheets.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and adhere to 6S and clean-work area practices.
• Train new operators as needed and support other departments.
