Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a maintenance technician for our Columbus Forge facility. This onsite role focuses on maintaining and repairing complex machinery with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components during a 3rd shift (Mon–Thu, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM).

You’ll troubleshoot, test, and calibrate equipment to support safe, efficient production. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years in industrial maintenance, with preferred experience in SAP, Microsoft

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems preferred.
• Proficiency with test instruments and tools for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly planned maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using service manuals and drawings.
• Conduct tests using instruments to identify faulty circuits and resolve issues.
• Replace or adjust components such as amplifiers, memory units, and printed circuit boards as needed.
• Calibrate and service electronic and electrical systems and power distribution.
• Maintain documentation of repairs in CMMS SAP.
• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) when required.
• Collaborate with team to support continuous improvement and EH&S policies.
