Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a remote Collections Specialist to join our nationwide team. Bring 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to regulatory compliance while working from home.

You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate payment arrangements, use skip-tracing tools, document accounts, and strive to meet performance goals in a compliant, professional environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential customer conversations.
• Experience working in a high-volume collections environment.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Previous experience consistently meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

As a Collections Specialist, you’ll play an important role in helping LCS achieve its recovery goals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.
