Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Remote Collections Specialist to join our team in Maryland. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliant recovery efforts from a home-based workspace.

We value at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation and communication skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. This role offers weekday hours, performance-based earnings, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential conversations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume collections environment.

As a Collections Specialist, you'll play an important role in helping LCS achieve its recovery goals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.

• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' individual financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.

• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.

Requirements
