Job summary

Grade Potential Tutoring in Elk Grove, CA seeks an in-person tutor for a 3rd-grade student needing math, reading and writing support. Two 1-hour sessions weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30–5:30 pm, at the family’s home in Elk Grove. Visual, hands-on teaching with your own materials is encouraged.

Applicants must have elementary tutoring experience and experience with autistic individuals, be able to travel within 5–10 miles, and meet insurance requirements (no minors).

About the student

• Autistic 3rd-grade student seeking tutoring for math, reading, and writing.
  
• The student learns best with visual, hands-on instruction. The goal is to identify and strengthen missing foundational skills, especially in math, while building the student's confidence and progressing toward grade-level academic skills through visual, structured instruction.
  
• The student is seeking two 1-hour sessions per week, during his availability: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
  
• The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for in-person sessions at his family's home in Elk Grove.
  

Requirements

REQUIRED

• You have experience teaching/tutoring elementary students.
  
• You have experience working with autistic individuals.
• You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
• Due to insurance requirements, applicant must not be a minor.
