ACCEL Schools LLC is hiring a qualified 3rd Grade Teacher for STEAM Academy of Warrensville Heights in Cleveland, Ohio. The role focuses on delivering engaging, standards-based instruction and fostering a positive classroom culture that supports student learning and social-emotional growth.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, differentiating instruction, maintaining records, and utilizing technology and school-approved curricula.

Qualificações

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to properly manage confidential information.
• Ability to supervise students in various school settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.).
• Pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
