Responsibilities

• Teaches District approved curriculum.
• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
• Plans a program of study using various instructional techniques and media.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Protects students, equipment, and facilities.
• Assists administration in implementing policies and rules.
• Encourages students to set and maintain classroom standards.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives.
• Assists in diagnosing learning disabilities with district specialists.
• Evaluates pupils' academic and social growth; keeps records.
• Maintains accurate records and prepares progress reports.
• Is available to students and parents outside instructional day.
