• Ability to work in an extended day environment.
• Ability to teach in an inclusion environment with a co-teacher.
• Strong communication and writing skills; a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly lesson plans.
• Teach scholars a common core based curriculum.
• Integrate technology into lessons and plans.
• Motivate scholars toward achievement.
• Meet with parents regarding performance and conduct.
• Develop scholar improvement plans.
• Collaborate with special educators in co-teaching for IEP students.
• Plan with school and network teams.
• Attend weekly professional development.
• Create and review student assessments.
• Tutor students and perform other duties as assigned.
