Job description

Join our teaching team at the Berman- Lipavsky Religious School, Beth El Congregation of Baltimore.

Schedule: Sundays, 8:30–11:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Teach Hebrew reading to half of the class (Hebrew fluency not required, but reading proficiency required).
• Collaborate with a co‑teacher to plan projects and lessons on Torah stories and holidays.
• Integrate creative teaching strategies to inspire student engagement.
• Utilize WhatsApp for communication.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching children in a Jewish educational setting preferred.
• Ability to create engaging, hands‑on lessons.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort with technology, specifically WhatsApp.
