BASIS Ed in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Math/Science Teacher for 3rd grade to deliver BASIS Curriculum with engaging, standards-aligned instruction. You will develop lesson plans and assess student progress in a supportive learning environment.

You will collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum, tutor students, and uphold professional attendance and conduct while fostering curiosity and achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive setting.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum by designing effective lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS teachers to develop curriculum and build a professional community.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge to support academic growth.
• Manage student behavior to promote achievement, personal responsibility and respect.
