Job summary

Hanes Elementary School in Irving, Texas seeks a 3rd Grade ESL Teacher for the 26-27 school year. The teacher will report to the campus principal and work within 187 duty days, delivering engaging ESL instruction aligned to district standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans for core subjects.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use data to plan instructional strategies and accommodate diverse learners (ESL, gifted, 504, etc.).
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers and utilize technology to enhance learning.
• Maintain open communication with students and parents/guardians.
