The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree and valid Texas teaching certification and preferably have an ESL Supplemental Certification. The position entails both classroom instruction and maintaining a positive educational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for teaching position.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy is required for Elementary education.
• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate learning activities and experiences to help students grow.
• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned.
• Manage student behavior and create a conducive classroom environment.

Skills

Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
