Job summary

Control Tech Ltd in Williston, ND is seeking a 3rd-4th Year Electrical Apprentice to work alongside Journeyman Electricians. You will learn to test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices, gaining hands-on experience in the oil and gas sector.

Duties include reading electrical and mechanical drawings, pulling wire, installing and maintaining systems, testing circuits, and adhering to safety programs.

Qualifications

• 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice Experience/Schooling completed.
• Standard First Aid/CPR with AED; H2S Alive, CSO, CSTS.
• Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required for safety-sensitive roles.
• Criminal background check completed, relevance assessed.
• Clean driving record verified per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.
• Pulls wire through conduits, holes, and splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits.
• Assists with installing, replacing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems/equipment.
• Tests circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
• Participates/complies with company safety programs and policies.
• Provides on-call support as required.
• Other duties as required.

Education

2nd Year Electrical Apprentice Experience/Schooling completed.
