Job summary

The Blake at Flowood is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our 3pm-11pm full-time team, with every-other-weekend coverage. This role provides medication administration, patient care, and coordination under the Wellness Leadership team, emphasizing compassionate service and high standards of safety.

Candidates must hold a current LPN license in the state, CPR, and First Aid certifications, with experience in assisted living preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN license current and issued by the state.
• CPR certification current.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication per physician orders within state regulations.
• Deliver world-class care and service to residents.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently and with a team to organize tasks and document clearly.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under Wellness Leadership.
