Job summary

Stantec in Irvine, CA, seeks a 3D Visualization Specialist to create models, renderings, animations, photo simulations, and presentation graphics for infrastructure, transportation, water, environmental services, energy, mining, and architecture projects.

You will work from CAD/BIM/GIS data and collaborate with engineers, architects, planners, and designers to support proposals, public outreach, design studies, stakeholder engagement, and project presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional 3D visualization experience in the AEC industry.
• Experience with large-scale visualization across multiple sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, renderings, animations, and presentation visuals.
• Support visualization for infrastructure, water, and architecture projects.
• Prepare data from CAD, BIM, GIS, terrain, and imagery for workflows.
• Build context: roads, bridges, buildings, terrain, and site elements.
• Produce lighting, camera views, render passes, and basic animation sequences.
• Assist with photo simulations and public outreach visuals.
• Support 4D sequencing with animation timelines and camera paths.
• Assist with real-time viz and VR/AR content as needed.
• Follow production standards and maintain organized files.
