Kitware seeks a researcher to advance 3D vision algorithms including camera calibration, registration, and reconstruction from images and video. You will contribute to TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield, collaborating with researchers to publish results and present at major conferences.

The role emphasizes innovation in 3D reconstruction, exposure to national security-related projects, and opportunities to pursue funded research areas.

Formación

• PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience using multiview geometry to develop algorithms for 3D reconstruction from imagery or video.
• Experience with AI/ML methods for 3D reconstruction or camera calibration.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python with good software practices.
• Strong publication record in top-tier conferences such as CVPR/ICCV/ECCV.
• Willingness to pursue TS/SCI security clearance if required.
• Detailed list of publications should accompany resume/CV.

Responsabilidades

• Research and develop algorithms for camera calibration, registration, and 3D reconstruction from images.
• Contribute to open source software such as TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield.
• Collaborate with researchers to advance ideas and peer-review work.
• Prepare and present research findings to customers and collaborators.
