Job summary

MSD is seeking a Growth and Improvement minded 3D Technologies Co-op to join our West Point, PA based Global Support Function division. You will work on the 3DT team, partnering with scientists, engineers, and operators to deliver CAD, 3D printing, and related fabrication services to enable new capabilities.

Qualifications

• Candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
• Enrolled in an academic program and returning to university after the co‑op to complete graduation requirements.
• Available for full time employment for 6 months (Apr 2027 – Sep 2027).

Responsibilities

• Manage print queue for various printers in the lab, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and communicate delays to stakeholders.
• Repair, upgrade or up‑knowledge printers; identify root causes of failures and improve speed, reliability, and versatility.
• Identify lab workflow improvements, document best practices, and create SOPs for new equipment or workflows.
• Participate in hands-on post-processing, support outreach events, and collaborate with multiple departments.
