Job summary

WNA Engineering is seeking a motivated 3D Scan Survey Technician to join our design-focused team in the United States. The role involves traveling to perform scan surveys and aerial mapping of buildings, coordinating with project teams, and supporting CAD drafting and reporting duties.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of construction-related experience, familiarity with building systems (MEP), and a valid driver’s license.

Your Impact:

WNA is seeking an experienced and motivated 3D Scan Survey Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building scanning and surveying, and a demonstrated ability in understanding building systems such as HVAC, electrical and piping. The 3D Scan Survey Technician will thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment, contributing directly to the execution of our mission and vision. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a minimum age of 21 years or older. Extensive availability to travel including overnights up to 80% is required. This position reports to the Portersville, PA office.

3D Laser Scan Surveyor Responsibilities

• Travel to conduct scan surveys and aerial mapping on buildings and properties according to client and project needs
• Communicate and coordinate projects with the team and Team Manager
• Utilize effective and responsible time management skills to prioritize personal project workload
• Participate in all team and organizational meetings
• Following project submission protocol according to client and WNA Standards and procedures
• Support the department with other tasks to fulfill projects such as CAD drafting and reporting
• Aid in researching innovative solutions to develop team processes and procedures
• Contribute to and support the overall development of the company

Here’s What You Need

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, driving, flying in commercial planes, and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to outside elements, climbing ladders, staircases and walking rooftops while carrying equipment.
